College of Geosciences celebrates Parents’ Weekend

The College of Geosciences celebrated the campus-wide annual Parents’ Weekend on April 9th.

The event consisted of a breakfast, facility tours, discussions with student researchers, and faculty/student demonstrations at various locations of the College.

Activities included a tour led by ATMO students of the Cloud & Visibility Observatory on the 15^th floor of O&M, a seismic demonstration at the Halbouty Building, and a tour of the Ocean Observatory Learning/Teaching Lab.

Since 1919, Parents' Weekend has been a special tradition at Texas A&M University. As Aggies, we pride ourselves on making our visitors feel welcome. This is a special time for parents and guests to feel the warm greeting of Aggieland. Parents' Weekend has become our official "HOWDY!"
