President Michael Young Visits College

Michael Young, the 25th president of Texas A&M University, visited the College of Geosciences Aug. 3 on a get-acquainted tour. The deans, department heads and center directors briefed the president on the initiatives, opportunities and challenges for the college. After the session, he met with faculty for an informal lunch, which was held in the new Robert O. Reid Ocean Observing Educational Facility.
