Geology student wins video contest |

Texas A&M geology graduate student Tyler Depke turned chemistry into cash by winning the American Chemistry Council’s “From Chemistry to Energy” video contest.
The ACC, a trade association devoted to economic, social, and environmental progress in the chemical industry, awarded Depke $10,000 for his “unique, visually surprising and thought-provoking” stop-motion take on its “From Chemistry to Energy” theme.
