Strategic Planning Documents and Resources
In the fall of 2013, the units in the College of Geosciences began collaborating on their individual strategic plans. Dean Kate Miller provided initial guidance to the departments, centers and program leaders in the effort to assess the specific mission, goals, and strategies of the units to ensure alignment with the over-arching College Strategic Plan. The plans are intended as guides for how the units and the College will move forward, individually and collectively, in the next five years. These have been developed through processes that included discussion among the members of the College Executive Committee and the faculty and staff at large, input from former students, departmental and college advisory groups, accrediting bodies and scientific peers, and in alignment with University-level planning documents.
